Till We Have Faces

C.S. Lewis

"Love is too young to know what conscience is." William Shakespeare, Sonnett 151

This tale of two princesses - one beautiful and one ugly - and a struggle between perfect and twisted love is Lewis’s reworking of the myth of Cupid and Psyche. For some reason it's the C. S. Lewis book that no one talks about.
